The Law Library is currently open to the public. Direct, one-on-one assistance with legal information and resources is not possible at this time. However, due to strict social distancing measures which have been put in place in the library and throughout the courthouse, we are able to provide one-on-one remote assistance during regular business hours through LivePerson online chat service. You can also reach out to us Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at lawlib@willcountyillinois.com or by phone, 815.774.7887.
The Library and Self-Help Legal Center is located on the fourth floor of the Will County Courthouse in downtown Joliet. Our mission is to provide and assist with legal information resources in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner. We are not lawyers and so are prohibited by law from giving legal advice. For legal advice pertaining to your situation, please consult an attorney.
